Nuclear Power Generation

Abundant experience and advanced technologies
to meet the needs of the times

We have extensive experience in the installation of equipment and facilities such as reactor pressure vessels and containment buildings in nuclear power generation and nuclear fuel cycles, as well as the construction of facilities for high-level nuclear waste vitrification or facilities for storage of vitrified waste in reprocessing plants. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have used this experience and technology to respond to the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant as well as to promptly improve facilities for ensuring enhanced safety and reliable functionality in anticipation of earthquakes, tsunamis, and tornadoes that cause damage to nuclear power plants and reprocessing plants around the country.

We will continue to contribute to ensuring the reliability of nuclear energy and stable power supplies by actively engaging in improving safety and ensuring the stable operation of nuclear power facilities, as well as decommissioning nuclear power plants in the future and carrying out the technology development and validation that such decommissioning requires.
